The first step is to decide what you would like to have in the smaller home or condo and how much space you will have to work with. It is now all about you. It is your style and whoever you are sharing the space with and areas can be created for watching TV, reading and just relaxing. Also consider how the kitchen and dining area will be used, do you still like to entertain? Your existing furniture must be edited thoroughly. If your expensive pieces or antiques do not work for the new space, then see if a family member are interested in them or sell them.
